The Smartphone feels like to have unibody design but it does not, so its good to have a phone which feels like unibody design. The phone is also slimmer than average phones available in the market. Overall design & build quality is great in its range.
Hardware & Performance
The K3 Note runs on MediaTek MT6752 which houses a 64-bit octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz and Adreno Mail-T6752 GPU. There is also 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The performance of the device is quite impressive. The MediaTek MT6752 delivers high-end performance with low power consumption and its further coupled with 2GB RAM makes sure the device reacts to the apps in a very smooth way. The K3 Note can handle multiple apps without any lag and also provide lag free gaming experience on the device even you can play very demanding 3D game without any lag.
Videos playing experience on the device are also very good you can play full HD video without any lag and distortion and the Dolby speaker were loud enough to watch videos without headphone. So overall quite impressive performance especially in this range
The K3 Note equipped with a 3,000 mAh (Removable) battery and a MediaTek MT6752 chipset, which uses the power in an efficient way. So a massive battery of 3,000mAh, On a single charge lasted for a full day and a half with moderate use. So the battery is very capable of powering up your phone at least for a full day with heavy use. Overall battery backup is very good.
The K3 Note runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.5 on top. Lenovo has fully customized the standard Android UI using Vibe UI such as notifications, icons, menus, quick settings, fonts, home screen and lock screen.
The notification screen has iOS 8 like design and the more toggles icons will only appear if you swipe down twice. Once opened you can toggles the available options once done just press the setting icon it will disappear. The menus launch is fast and they are quite logical too.
The K3 Note is preloaded with lots of bloatware and there is no option to remove them without rooting but thank god there is enough space to run all your apps without removing these unwanted preloaded apps.
Lenovo has also added some power saving options. You can access these options by heading to Power manager under setting menu. Under this menu you can monitor the power consumed by the hardware and software. There is also an Ultimate Power Saver mode, when you activated this option, it will save a lot of battery by deactivating most of the apps and will only activate the basic functionality of phone like calling, texting, and alarm & clock. Another good feature is Character settings let you activate various unlock methods and shortcuts too, like quick camera access and double tapping.
No doubt you can definitely change the visuals by using another theme available in the Theme center. The Vibe UI works fine and remains stable. So overall software customization with Vibe UI is good
