The display is very sharp and vibrant with high pixel density 401 ppi. We have Played 3D Movies of having size around 16GB without any lag and 3D experience with VR headset  is good. The color reproduction is great, the music was very loud, with good viewing angles. Outdoor and indoor visibility  are also good. There are very few companies in the markets, which offers such type of display at this price point.

Camera : 6/10

Lenovo K4 Note comes with 13MP primary and  the 5MP secondary camera. The Primary camera is a  f2.2 ISOCELL sensor with PDAF fast focus, and dual tone LED flash. The primary camera shoots impressive  detailed high quality outdoor pictures, but indoor pictures are of average quality, the same is also true with secondary camera. The camera supports the full HD video recording, but there are very few shooting modes available with it . The selfie camera  has an auto beautification feature and has a snap mode, which has four ways to shoot a selfie : Auto Selfie, 3S timer,Tip, and Hand gesture.  Overall, good for taking pictures and sharing on social media websites. Design & Build Quality : 7/10

The Lenovo K4 Note has a  premium looking body, not doubts it’s made  out of polycarbonate material, but still its look quite premium and feels sturdy too. On the front, it has  a pair a speaker, 5MP camera, an LED notification light at the top. At the bottom it has three capacitive buttons for shortcuts, Home, and Back.

On the left hand side, there are a Power Key, and a volume rocker, while left edge remained clean. Micro-USB port reside on the bottom and 3.5mm Audio jack on the top.

On the rear. We have  a 13MP camera with Double-toned LED and beneath it a fingerprint scanner, which can also be used to take pictures.  The Rear panel is removable that gives access to Two SIM slots and  a MicroSD card, battery is not removable. Overall, good design and build quality.

Hardware  & Performance : 8/10

The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 Octa-core processor, which is further coupled with 3GB of RAM and boost the device’s performance very well. It has a Mali-T720-MP3 GPU with 450 MHz frequency that makes the 3D gaming experience smooth and lag-free.  It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card.

No doubts with such powerful innards, you can play very demanding 3D games without any lag as i did. I have been using this device for 3 months, but till now i don’t find any performance issue with the device. You can imagine the device which can play 16GB size 3D movies without any lag where most PC stuck, How powerful it would be.

Battery : 8/10

It has a 3300mAh non-removable battery with Super Power Saver mode. The device took around 3 hours to fully charge the battery, which can last up to 1.5 Days on mix use. There is also a power saver mode, which can be useful when very less battery juice left on your device and you don’t want to miss the important calls and message so turn it on. It will convert your smartphone into  a basic phone, which can only be used for calls and SMS. Overall, quite happy with battery performance.

Software: 7/10

The Lenovo k4 Note runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and Lite Vibe UI 2.5 on top of it. The device  almost runs on pure Android 5.1 with a little  touch of Vibe UI, which is quite good as the pure Android makes the device operations very smooth and bug-free too. Still, you can customize the device the according to your needs. One thing i really like about K4 Note is the regular updates, in just two months,  I have received around 2-3 updates that fix the system’s bugs, improves  device stability and security. Overall, stable OS with lag-free apps.

Bottom Line :

The Lenovo K4 Note is complete mid-range package with sharp full HD display, premium looking body, good battery back, good performance, smooth gaming experience, Dolby Audio, and decent cameras. There are very few competitors in this price range, you can but this smartphone or you can try the Redmi Note 3, which offers similar specs but lacks VR technology and microSD card support. So K4 Note is a good smartphone with 3D VR technology, which is new technology that lets you enjoy 3D movies on the device. The device is a great value for money just go for it.
