Oneplus one review : The Flagship Killer

OnePlus One is a smartphone made by OnePlus, a startup company from China. Unveiled in April 2014, it’s the first merchandise of OnePlus. The One was made to be a low cost phablet-sized smartphone similar in quality along with functionality by other leading producers to high end smartphones, and features a variant of the aftermarket Android supply CyanogenMod, variant 11 S.

The OnePlus One features a 5.5″ 1080p full HD JDI display with LTPS technology for a higher pixel density and sharper image. The IPS screen reacts to the smallest touch with TOL (Touch On Lens) technology, which removes the space between the display panel as well as the touch sensor.

In addition, it makes the display shatterproof. Gorilla(c) Glass 3 shields the display against scrapes, and from almost any angle, it is possible to appreciate degree vision with it. Color production is also great. Overall Display is sharp and very responsive.

Many people rely on our cellphones for shooting all our photographs so a 13 megapixel rear camera With double LED flash, the camera of the OnePlus One, takes incredible photographs  even in low lighting conditions. Shoot at anytime, anywhere for bright, sharp pictures.

5 megapixel  front  facing  camera is just good for taking selfies.

Design and build quality

OnePlus One Front ,Back and side Edge

The One Plus One is ergonomic and simple to grasp, having a tapered border of only 4.6mm. Select either Silk White or Sandstone, Black, both exceptional feels, for the feel of a superior device that’s constructed to last but the physical buttons for power and the volume rock are set on opposite sides, which is a little strange for our flavor and the buttons themselves feel a bit cheap, but we have yet to have any real issues with them so far. So overall great build quality.

Hardware & Performance

The One Plus One has powerful hardware. It comes with  Snapdragon 801 Quad Core Processor clocked at 2.5 GHz integrated 4G LTE connectivity and Adreno 330 GPU for superior graphics and gaming experience, boosting 3D interfaces, colors and textures.

The device also has 16GB or 64GB of internal memory and 3GB of RAM running at 1866MHz allows flawless multitasking of even the most demanding applications. So in terms of hardware, it’s simply a powerhouse.

It’s equipped with 3100mAh battery which is quite good . It  also uses energy efficient technology like CABC and DRAM that adjust the level of backlight and differentiate between dynamic and static content on your screen. These technologies reduce the power consumed and allow you to run all your apps and data services, all day long. Overall battery performance  is quite good if you are a light user your battery last up to 2 days,  around 1 full day for heavy users ,and  6.8 hours on screen non-stop .

OnePlus one with different themes

Great customizations and easy to use as Cyanogen 11S Powered by Android, Cyanogen brings the features you love while giving you the liberty to shape your mobile domain. Options like Silent Hours, an enhanced home screen, and a configurable Quick Settings’ panel are just a couple of ways that you can control how you and your One connect. You can also personalize it by picking from thousands of themes or mix and match icons, fonts, backgrounds, and more create your perfect look which suits your needs .So overall great user interface and easy to use.
